Ranchlands’ November Community Update


The Ranchlands Community Association is looking for community members that are interested in joining the Board of Directors!

Our annual AGM will be held here at the RCA Hall on Sunday, November 7 at 4:00 pm. Doors will open at 3:30 pm for check-ins. Please note we are part of the City of Calgary Bylaw 65M2021, aka the ‘Vaccine Passport’, so please bring your required documentation with you to check in. Please direct any questions about this to the RCA Office at [email protected]. Voting is open to all Ranchlands residents with an up-to-date membership. If you wish to renew prior to the AGM, please visit our website to do so online, or send an email to the office to make other arrangements.

The Board of Directors is made up of seven individuals who want to help the community be the best it can be.

We are currently looking for Ranchlands residents who are interested in any (or all) of the following:

– Communications (social media, website, newsletters, and more!)

– Grant Writing (how we fund many of our projects and day to day operations)

– Event Planning (both annual and new events)

– Program Leads (helping host, plan, or support programs, both new and old)

– Hall Rentals (helping us find more rentals, advertising etc.)

There are several positions on the board such as President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and three Director-at-large positions. All are 100% volunteer roles and are critical for the continued success of our community.

While having experience is great, it is not always required! You can learn as you go ← do not let this stop you from volunteering.
