Queensland–Diamond Cove Community Association President’s Message

Hi Everyone,

Yet another month has gone by and for good or bad, most restrictions have been lifted. All we can do is just wait and see what happens. I do ask one thing. Please play nice out there. Some of us may choose to wear our masks regardless of what the government says. This is our personal choice, as is the choice not to wear one. Let’s just move on.

As I mentioned in my last message, the Queensland Diamond Cove Community Association is planning a Family Party. We would like to invite all children to our Spring Fling Party. It will be held on Saturday, April 9 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Please join us for an afternoon of spring crafts and games. Refreshments will be served. This is a free event; however, we need families to register to attend. Please email Linda Brown at [email protected] to register.

We will also be doing another Community Clean Up Day this year. Clean Up Day this year is July 9 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. We will have two city trucks, one for organics and one for garbage, along with folks there to collect electronics and metals. Over the next few months, we’ll be posting in our newsletter items that are allowed and those not allowed. We are again asking for volunteers to help us out, even if just for a few hours. If you’d like to volunteer, please email Linda Brown at [email protected] and let her know.

That’s it for this month. I hope everyone has a good spring. Take care and stay warm.

Cheers,

Brian
