Woodlands Crime Activity was Down in January 2024

Woodlands Calgary experienced 5 crimes in January 2024, in comparison to 6 crimes the previous month, and 2 crimes in January one year ago. The Woodlands community has an average of 6.8 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Woodlands had a total of 82 crimes as of January 2024, which is up 17% in comparison to 70 crimes as of January 2023. Total Woodlands community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

Woodlands Calgary had 0 break and enter (B&E) crimes in January, in comparison to 0 B&E crimes in December and 0 B&E crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Woodlands had a total of 3 B&E crimes as of January 2024, which is down from 13 B&E crimes as of January 2023.

Woodlands had 3 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in January 2024, in comparison to 4 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 0 vehicle related crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Woodlands had a total of 35 vehicle related crimes as of January 2024, which is up in comparison to 25 vehicle related crimes as of January 2023.
