This year, we’re excited to offer a series of engaging evenings just for parents, designed to inform, inspire, and support you in your parenting journey. The first of the series is designed for families with younger children (ages 3 to 8) and the second is for families with older children (ages 7 to 13).

Session One: The Power of Early Identification and Intervention

October 29 | 6:30 to 7:30 pm | HCA Social Lounge

In partnership with the Lead Foundation, this session introduces you to the work of Lead teachers and the vital role early identification and intervention can play in your child’s development. You’ll learn who we are, what we do, and how we collaborate with families to help children thrive. Far from intimidating, this conversation is friendly, approachable, and focused on supporting your child’s strengths. Come with your questions—we’ll share practical insights, resources, and the programs available to your family. Free to attend (donations welcome).

Session Two: Screens, Phones, and Dopamine—Oh My!

November 12 | 7:00 to 8:00 pm | HCA Social Lounge

All of these can raise the parenting pressure, but there is a clear way through the jungle.

Join Julie Freedman Smith of Parent Mentor Now and learn five key tools to help your family adapt to the challenges of screens and phones, decrease the battles, and keep your kids safe!

$10 per person.

Reserve your spot today at hayboro.org and join us for these valuable, parent-focused evenings.
