Belmont is one of Calgary’s newest communities and a hub of connectivity in the southwest. Positioned as the most connected community in Southwest Calgary, Belmont is surrounded by three arterial roads, ensuring seamless access both within and outside the neighborhood. Exciting developments await Belmont in the future, including plans for a City of Calgary Recreation Centre along 210th Ave SW, adjacent to a future library and high school site. Another school is planned on Belmont Street, with a transit centre incorporating a future LRT stop on the east side of the community, further enhancing connectivity.

The community boasts a median total household income of $130,000, with 96% of private households being owner households. The majority of occupied private dwellings in Belmont are single-detached houses (92%), and 87% of private households spend less than 30% of their total income on shelter.

Inclusivity is a hallmark of Belmont, with 52% of the population being immigrants and 4% non-permanent residents, primarily from the Philippines (50%). This burgeoning community embraces a population where 56% are First Generation, creating a diverse and welcoming atmosphere.
