The New Brighton Community Association (NBCA), comprising of resident volunteers, serves as the community’s non-profit political advocate. Collaborating with elected officials from the City of Calgary, the NBCA addresses various community issues and organizes annual events like the Bike Parade, Mini Olympics, and Tool Shed activities.
The New Brighton Club, managed by the not-for-profit New Brighton Residents Association (NBRA), stands as a year-round recreational hub available for rental. Residents can the rent the facility to hosts events such as birthday parties, baby showers, and weddings. Additionally, the Club offers amenities like tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, basketball courts, a splash park, playground, and a hockey rink, accessible to members via membership cards.
The NBRA maintains community features including the beautiful Bell Tower, pond fountains, and entrances, while also providing fitness, educational, and creative programs for all ages. Monthly complimentary events, like the Stampede Breakfast and the Christmas Market, further enrich the community experience.
New Brighton is served by renowned schools like New Brighton Elementary, Dr Martha Cohen School, and St. Marguerite School, fostering an environment conducive to education and growth.
