All gardeners have planted their edible and flower seeds, and the plants are growing with regular care and watering.

Our fourth growing season continues to be rewarding with all the new and old learnings we have received in recent years. We had a great Plant Exchange and Sale on Saturday May 27. If you want to stay connected with our activities, please join us as a Level 1 member. Please register at https://www.oakridgecommunity.ca/ and you can participate in our fun and informative activities, including visits to private local gardens.

Save the Dates: Our OCG Near Term Events Are:

OCG Open Garden on July 29, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Joan Williams will present, and visitors will be welcome.

We still have some challenges with our weeds – both in the grass, underneath our mulch, and in the kids’ ice rink area. We have plans to address and to try to mitigate these but as you probably know/notice, dandelions are ubiquitous, and our plans again require volunteer support. Many thanks to our dedicated volunteers who have donated their time.

Come visit our OCG and rest awhile on our benches and picnic tables. Everyone is invited. However, we ask that you do not disturb the beds and plants as they are paid for by our local members.
