It’s time for the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth! Check out stampedebreakfast.ca for the 2024 Calgary Stampede Pancake calendar.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped with the Community Cleanup on June 9. It takes many hands to make our community great, and we appreciate all of our volunteers.

The Chaparral Community Association has worked with the City of Calgary on the Adopt-a-Rink program for several years. We are excited to announce that we will now be installing a permanent pad in Chaparral Valley Square Park. Construction will commence this summer/fall. The CCA is looking for input on how to use the pad when the ice has melted. If you have any ideas, please send us a message.

The CCA hosts several events throughout the year, including Murder Mystery Nights, Easter Egg Hunt, Stampede kick-off breakfast (co-hosted with the Lake Chaparral Residents Association), End of Summer Bash, Skate with Santa, and Festival of Lights. We are looking for an Events Coordinator to help plan and organize events. If you would like to help out, please email us.

The CCA also has several pieces of sports equipment that can be used by members, including adult and child snowshoes, walking poles, and a portable disc golf game. Contact us to sign out equipment.

Monthly board meetings typically take place on the second Wednesday of the month. Many hands make for light work! If you would like to get involved in the community, please message [email protected].
