Christy has lived in Ranchlands for 20 years. From the moment she arrived, she has been a dedicated and involved member, contributing to the vibrancy and spirit of Ranchlands. Christy is always game for researching, learning, and trying new things. Christy is a life-long volunteer in church ministries and with a range of not-for-profit organizations. Bringing her work experience as an event coordinator, a community engagement specialist, and supporting the economic development of towns and chambers of commerce across Alberta, Christy is excited about being part of the board and working hard to ensure our community is dynamic and that we have a strong vision for the future.

Furry Friends: I am a devoted dog lover and can often be spotted walking my beloved Mya through Ranchlands and chatting with fellow residents along the way.

I like to think my unwavering commitment to making a positive impact inspires those around me, and I want to leave a legacy of generosity and compassion that will echo for generations to come.

Spill the Local Beans: My family comes from Bell’s Corners, a vibrant and historically rich neighbourhood in Ottawa, Ontario, which boasts a fascinating past dating back to the early 19th century. It was settled and named after Hugh Bell, whose tavern served as a pivotal stop for travelers in the 1830s.
