Howdy Neighbours! Happy July and Stampede!
Summer is here and kids are starting their summer days of playing outside and fondly missing their homework. I am happy to see all the flowers from our fundraiser growing and blooming around the neighbourhood. I hope everyone was able to find some goodies at The Parade of Garage Sales. Our membership drive is in full force so please sign up and support the Kingsland Community Association by purchasing a membership so we can continue to build our events and programming.
Our Neighbour Day and Cleanup Day was Saturday, June 15. Thank you to all the volunteers, Trico for donating the food, and to those who came out to cleanup and participate in the BBQ, cardmaking, and kids’ activities. These events are important as they allow us to meet our neighbours and build our connection within the community.
The Kingsland School site demolition is complete, with mini golf and other fun activities coming to the site to make this space lively and useable until the final vision is established and executed.
