August Musings in Rutland Park

Hello Rutland Park,

As this goes to print, we are well into summer 2024, but it will not be long until we hear the school bells ring, and our students will be back to explore new adventures.

June was a fabulous month, as we gathered for our annual Neighbour Day event. Many thanks to Danny Greene and his committee for hosting this event. This year well over 175 attended, and from my observation, a good time was enjoyed by all. I was very pleased to see quite a few members from Sarcee Meadows there.

Over summer our soccer fields were well used by the Grassroots soccer program, and the skate building remained a hub of activity for the martial arts groups.

Just a reminder, that now is the time of year to renew your community membership for yet another year. If you are new to our area, please consider purchasing your card for 2024/25. The information is printed in The Post, and our membership director will assist you. As always, many thanks for your continued support.

Well, friends this is all the news for now. Stay safe and do remember to smell the roses.

Happy trails to all,

Isabell
