Thank you for all the support and work that has gone into fundraising for our new playground since 2019. You may have noticed our beloved playground has had some amputations recently and all the hard work you have put to fundraising means we are building a new Playground August 13 to 16.
Now let’s Build!
Volunteers do not need any specific training to assist. However, they have to be 18 years of age or older, need to wear closed toe and heel footwear, enthusiasm and ability to walk, bend, kneel or squat as needed. Not every volunteer will need to hold or carry heavy items or use equipment – but these are certainly abilities we will use. We have multiple tasks to be done and can use all the help we can get, for any amount of time, to contribute to complete this project. We are looking for 40 volunteers throughout each day, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
