Alexandra is a community advocate whose passion is creating a loving and lasting sense of community through amenities, activities, and connection. A former geophysicist and environmental scientist, Alex has spent the last ten years working to make her home community a wonderful place to live. She was instrumental in creating and executing a farmer’s market, is helping build a food forest and community garden, and oversees her local chapter of the Buy Nothing group. She also owns her own business, a Highland dance studio with a similar mission of building community around Scottish culture. She is excited to continue the incredible community work happening in Hawkwood that makes it a vibrant and inclusive place to live
