Things can and do change, and quickly. The newsletter is not frequent enough to communicate things that are changing on short notice in regards to the community association, the community centre, and community events.

Annual General Meeting
Wednesday, November 20
Note the date of our 2024 AGM is Wednesday, November 22. This is when we celebrate our community and the people who make things happen.
New Season of Events
The 2024/2025 jazz concert series has started. We had our first event on September 4. Attendance was a sell out. We are a well-known jazz venue. The jazz musicians are all local and some create and play their own compositions. The cost is very affordable, and beverages are available for purchase. Details are elsewhere in this newsletter.
Potlucks are now also started. This is a great way to meet and talk to other residents.
Third Annual Flu Vaccine Clinic
October 19
Flu season is fast approaching. In order to reduce your risk of getting the flu, you should consider getting a flu vaccine shot. We have partnered with PrimeCare Pharmacy and Compounding to allow you to get your flu vaccine shot at no cost to you. It will be held at the community centre from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. This is a drop-in event.
History Book Third Printing
We have copies of the third printing of our award-winning history book. Very few community history books have achieved this number of books printed. They are available for purchase at all our events at the community centre. This is a great way of learning the history of the community in which you live. They are great gifts.
