Tuesday Walks: 10:00 am to about 11:30 am. About one hour plus café time. Different routes, easy and moderate, at Glenmore Reservoir, in the Oakridge community, and at Fish Creek Park. Our calendar is posted in the Café Concession glass cabinet and the bulletin board by the hockey rink doorway. Text or phone Gary at 403-831-5682 for location details.

Wednesday Weekly Chat and Coffee: Wednesdays, 9:15 am and 11:15 am. Weekly Chat and Coffee time in Oakridge Community Centre (OCC) at Jetana’s Cafe. This is an opportunity to meet other Oakridge residents and nearby neighbours to socialize over coffee.

Special Speaker Presentation: Wednesday, October 23 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Upstairs in OCC. Writing Memoirs by Karen Lee. Karen resides in Oakridge and has extensive experience in suggesting ways to organize and share one’s life experiences. She is an engaging, articulate speaker, author, and article writer.

Flex Time – Thursday, Friday, Saturday Events: Open to suggestions to volunteer and help organize special activities (tours, home potluck lunches, entertainment events). Alternatively, take time to revive friendships, connect with a housebound acquaintance, or support someone else’s well-being who may be facing loneliness or other challenges.
