Shaping Killarney-Glengarry: Your Vision, Our Future – Development Survey to Residents
by Colin Knoll, Director of Development at Killarney Glengarry Community Association
We have developed a survey that seeks to capture the voices, feedback, and visions of Killarney-Glengarry residents regarding current and future development within the community. Gathering feedback from you ensures that the KGCA Planning and Development Committee can provide appropriate information to stakeholders who are responsible for influence and change (i.e., the City, developers, businesses, residents, etc.).
We at the Planning and Development Committee intend to use this information to craft community-led development principles, known as SMART development principles, while also developing unique programming to address your unique perspectives.
Our current mandate is to educate and inform at scale and focus on providing community feedback for larger development applications (8+ units).
We intend to use this information from the survey to improve our mission to educate and inform at scale, and to gather relevant information about what our community needs.
Why Your Input Matters: While the City has existing plans for development through the various frameworks such as the City Plan, Local Area Plans, and others – we would like to gather your feedback to ensure community concerns and aspirations of residents are always considered and the multiple voices who can change!
This survey is comprehensive and anonymous and will take 15 to 20 minutes! So please be as open and transparent as possible! If you have any questions email [email protected]!
