Hello Crescent Heights!
It’s been a busy season for the Crescent Heights Community Association! We recently held our AGM in late October, and it was fantastic to see so many of you there to hear about our 2023-24 activities and support the election of our new board members. We’re thrilled to welcome a fresh slate of 12 board members, ready to keep our community vibrant and connected. I’d like to welcome Eilysh Zurock to the board, who will be taking on the new role of Fundraising Director.
At the same time, we extend a big thank you to our departing members, Doug Carlyle, Jordan Nabata, and Matthew Clapson for their dedicated service over the last year. Your contributions have been appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you around the community.
For anyone eager to get involved, we’d love to have you on one of our board committees! There are plenty of ways to contribute and stay connected – simply drop me a line at [email protected] to find out more.
December is the perfect time to enjoy all Crescent Heights has to offer. On December 7 there’s a Christmas Market at our community hall from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, organized by Tigerstedt and Friends – a great opportunity to find unique gifts and enjoy the holiday spirit. And don’t miss out on a winter stroll through Rotary Park to take in Art on the Cusp, a Mini Gallery exhibit which will be on display until the end of December.
