Dear West Hillhurst Community,
As we wrap up the winter months, I can’t help but feel excited for what’s to come this spring. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in Girls Hockey Day—a collaborative event presented by West Hillhurst Community Association and Northwest Warriors Hockey Association. This special day was aimed at bringing together female players, coaches, parents, and supporters for development, growth, and, most importantly, a celebration of the game we all love. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and passion truly made the day unforgettable, and we look forward to continuing to foster the growth of girls’ hockey in our community.
The West Hillhurst Community Association will be participating in a fundraiser casino on Sunday, March 16 and Monday, March 17, 2025. It will be held at ACE Casino Airport (40 Aero Cres NE). Money raised from the casino provides one of the largest sources of revenue to maintain operations at the WHCA. We are in need of volunteers, registration is open. www.westhillhurst.com/casino-2025.
