If you or someone you know in the community is facing food insecurity, the Ranchlands Food Pantry is here to help. You can request a hamper from our community webpage at http://ranchlandscommunity.com under the programs section. Please note that due to limited resources, we can only support Ranchlanders at this time.
Volunteer Opportunities
Join us in making a difference! We’re actively searching for an individual to fill our role as a hamper drop-off driver volunteer. The role consists of picking up completed hampers from the Ranchlands Food Pantry on the first and last Monday evening of every month (or Tuesday evenings if Monday is a statutory holiday) between 5:00 and 5:30 pm and delivering them to the doorsteps of Ranchlands residents who have requested a hamper. Drop-offs are contactless. To volunteer in this position, you must have your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
If you’re interested or have questions, please email [email protected]. Your commitment and support significantly contribute to the success of our community initiatives. Thank you for your support!
Items In Need
If you’re looking to contribute to a cause that directly benefits your community, please consider donating items in high demand, such as cereal, canned soups and vegetables, fruits, and nut butters. Toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, and toilet paper are also often requested items. Check out our Facebook page for regular updates on what items are in high demand. Donations can be dropped off at the Ranchlands Community Association RFP box, conveniently located in the foyer at 7713 Ranchview Drive NW. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Thank you for your support!
