New Life…

April is always a fun month in preschool! It’s when our ducks arrive! This is now a yearly tradition that we all look forward to! The children (and adults) were so excited when the duck eggs arrived, and we patiently waited every day for them to hatch! On average it takes 28 days for the ducks to hatch, and as the days went by the excitement levels grew and grew! The day finally arrived! The eggs started to crack and just like that we had ducklings! Each class voted and picked a name for their class duck, and we all enjoyed watching how they grew and changed over the weeks that we took care of them. Our favourite part was teaching them to swim! The ducks are now happily back at the farm enjoying a more peaceful lifestyle! Thank you to the parents who helped organize the ducks, making sure we had everything we needed.
This month, soccer with Triple Meg returns and each class will take part in four sessions with Coach Steve and his team. The children always enjoy these sessions and it’s lovely to see the skills that they develop in such a short period of time.
