Chinese Community Celebrates “Dragon Heads Raising Day” with an Exclusive Screening of Ne Zha 2

by David Lu

In early March, coinciding with the traditional Chinese lunar calendar event “Dragon Heads Raising Day,” the Chinese community came together to organize an exclusive screening of Ne Zha 2, a widely acclaimed animated blockbuster.

In this film, children were deeply moved by Ne Zha’s playful yet righteous and tolerant personality, as well as his profound love for his mother. The movie also showcased China’s breathtaking landscapes, presenting the stunning natural beauty of the country. Additionally, it masterfully integrated traditional Chinese cultural elements with modern concepts, allowing audiences to appreciate both the captivating storyline and the unique charm of Chinese culture.

The success of any film relies on three key factors: artistry, technology, and commercial appeal. From an artistic perspective, Ne Zha 2 creates vivid and emotionally rich characters, embodying deep cultural significance. Technically, the film employs cutting-edge animation technology, delivering exquisite visuals, smooth action sequences, and intricate lighting effects that provide an exceptional viewing experience. Commercially, Ne Zha 2 has demonstrated immense market appeal, securing a position among the top five highest-grossing animated films in global cinema history.

Cinema was first introduced to the world in 1895 by the Lumière Brothers in France. This year marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of cinema, and the magnificent presentation of Ne Zha 2 serves as a remarkable tribute to the art of filmmaking.

Special thanks to Hua Lu Education, Mr. Fei Ye, and Kathy Tian from Fortunity Wealth for organizing this special screening event!
