The Somerset Bridlewood Community Association AGM will be held on May 7 at 7:00 pm in the Flames Room at Cardel Rec South (333 Shawville Blvd SE). We are hosting a mini resource fair to accompany our meeting, and we would like to invite everyone to join us! It doesn’t matter if you are a SBCA member or not, you’re welcome to take part. We will have light refreshments (while supplies last), as well as tables hosted by community groups such as the Calgary Public Library, Trellis Society, and the Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society (others to be announced closer to the date). We are also featuring short presentations by representatives from Planet Youth, the Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society, and our District’s Community Resource Officer, Constable Richard Thorpe. There will be opportunities for residents to ask questions and gather information and resources relevant to the communities of Somerset and Bridlewood. Participants may also enter for the chance to win a door prize. Don’t miss this occasion to connect with others in your community and obtain helpful resources!
AGM Agenda:
• 7:00 to 7:30 pm – Mix and mingle and enjoy refreshments; browse tables hosted by community groups.
• 7:30 to 7:45 pm – Presentation by Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society representatives.
• 7:45 to 8:00 pm – Presentation by Planet Youth representative.
• 8:00 to 8:25 pm – Presentation and Q&A by Constable Richard Thorpe, Community Resource Officer.
• 8:25 to 8:30 pm – Door prizes awarded.
• 8:30 to 9:00 pm – Somerset Bridlewood Community Association AGM.
The event is free for everyone to attend – we’re looking forward to meeting you!
