As another Scouting year comes to a close, the 186th Ranchlands Scouting Group has so much to be proud of—and it’s all thanks to you.

To our incredible volunteers and leaders: Week after week, you inspire our youth with your creativity, patience, and dedication. Whether teaching knots, leading hikes, or simply being a role model, you make Scouting unforgettable. Thank you.

To the Ranchlands community: Your generosity—whether through bottle drives, popcorn sales, or words of encouragement—fuels everything we do. This group thrives because of your support.

A personal note from me: After many years – on and off – as the 186th Ranchlands Group Commissioner, I am *finally* stepping down. (I mean it this time. No, really though.) Serving this Scouting family has been one of my greatest joys. Watching our youth grow in confidence and kindness—and seeing this community rally behind them—has been incredible. Thank you for letting me be part of it.

What’s ahead? An exciting fall! We’re planning the annual overnight Great Escape, skills camps, and hikes, and we’d love you to join in. We’re seeking a new Group Commissioner—if you’re eager to help guide the 186th’s next chapter, email [email protected]. No experience? No problem! Enthusiasm is all you need.

From all of us at the 186th: Thank you for making this group so special. The adventure continues!

Yours in Scouting,

Christopher Tindall
