Our “Planting and Pollinators” kids’ workshop at the beginning of May was a blooming success! Thank you to all the curious kids who got their hands dirty, learned about pollinators, and painted and planted a wonderful pot of flowers. A huge shout out to Janet Melrose and our incredible volunteers —your guidance, patience, and positivity kept everything buzzing. Thank you to all the children and parents who came to make this event a great success!
A big thank you to everyone who came out to our community cleanup and helped keep our natural spaces beautiful for everyone to enjoy. The natural playground is the heart of our neighbourhood—it’s where our kids play, we catch up with neighbours, and where we find moments to relax. Let’s all continue to pitch in and keep these spaces clean and welcoming for all.
HCA Gardening Committee
Are you passionate about gardening, green spaces, and making a positive impact in our community? The HCA has started a garden committee and are looking for volunteers to help maintain and enhance our shared green spaces. Please email [email protected] to get involved. Join us June 1 for “Turn Your Street into Bumblebee Lane” and help our pollinator friends by joining our plant exchange and picking up free wildflower seeds! Haysboro Pickleball Kick-off Party

Our tennis and pickleball courts are now open! Get your HCA Racquet Club Membership for the 2025 season today and be sure to review the updates in the new Code of Conduct. Let’s work together to keep the courts clean—please use the court broom to sweep and dispose of trash in the bins provided. Join us for the Haysboro Pickleball Kick-off Party on June 1 to celebrate the start of the season! From 4:00 to 6:00 pm, enjoy open court time for casual play. Then, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, we’ll be hosting a tournament. Please note: all tournament participants must have an HCA Racquet Club Membership Add-On. The first 50 members to arrive will enjoy a free BBQ!

The next Haysboro Outdoor Market dates are Wednesdays, June 11 and 25 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Come join us, rain or shine!
AGM
The HCA AGM is on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the HCA. Want to reconnect with the community? Think you can help make Haysboro even better? All neighbours are invited to attend, but to vote, you must have a valid HCA membership for at least one month prior to the meeting. We hope to see you there!
Summer Camps
Summer camp registrations are open for programs run out of the HCA. Currently, we have Adventures Child Care, Interior and Fashion Design Art Camp, Broadway Beats, a Kids Sewing Camp, Engineering for Kids, and C&C Educator (LEGO Robotics Stem Camp) all running camps. Check out haysboro.org/summercamps to find the links to register with the camp operators and for more information.
