Rutland Park’s Musings for August

Summer rolls along! By the time this goes to print, the days will already be beginning to shorten. In just a few weeks our students will be back in school for another exciting year. When I think about the history of Rutland Park, our local school Sir James always played such a vital role. A good number of our community events were held at the school, as we did not have the luxury of a community hall. Now, I understand the school will begin a new chapter, as the boys’ program winds down.

Sarcee Meadow is in the final stages of the retro fit. The complex is looking fabulous, and many of our yards are being totally revitalized, as my photo shows all of you. Thanks to Cindy and her family, your yard is a show piece!

Due to that very bad weather in June, the Neighbour Day event was cancelled. Maybe another day was selected for this popular event. With September fast approaching, we will get ready for cleanup day.

Well friends, it is time to sign off for now. Keep well and happy, we will talk soon.

Cheers,

Isabell
