A big thank you to everyone who came out for the RCA Community Cleanup on August 23! We had an amazing turnout, with hundreds of vehicles lined up to donate, recycle, or toss out their trunk loads of clutter.
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our incredible partners:
• City of Calgary for offering this program to communities at no cost
• Salvation Army for handling recycling and donations
• CPU Ranchlands for generously donating pizzas to keep our volunteers fueled
• And of course, our amazing volunteers we truly couldn’t have done it without you!
Looking ahead to next year, we’re planning:
• More space for metal recycling
• A spring date to help kick-start those cleanup tasks early
• Collecting non-perishable food donations to support our local food programs
Thanks again to everyone who pitched in to help make our community a little cleaner and a whole lot brighter!
