Graphite allows for a wide range of values (light to dark) to be achieved. Graphite may create detailed and precise drawings and also used for softer, more subtle lines and shading. Fun fact: Graphite converts to diamond under extremely high pressure and temperature.
Wednesday, November 19, 1:30 to 3:30 pm, Watercolour Feathers with Doris Loewen
Learn how to paint the feathers of your favourite birds. We will add mica to create a glistening, iridescent finish. Templates will be provided. Feathers are a beautiful addition to a garden journal, painted on cards or gift tags, or framed to hang on a wall.
