Season’s Greetings! Whatever you’re celebrating this month – all the best for happy and safe festivities!
A great way to get in the spirit is to come along to our community centre beside Nellie McClung school on Saturday, December 13 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm for our Jingle and Mingle Skate Party family event. If there’s no ice, we’ll still party. There will be fun and refreshments for all ages and Santa will make an appearance with little treats to eat.
The PBP Community Association is working on more events for families and children in our community and we’d really like your input. Life is so busy when you have children but if you could spare a bit of time for a chat or a meeting to discuss what events or activities would be of interest we’d love to listen. We’ll use your suggestions to plan future activities. Please email me at the address below and ask your parenting neighbours too.
This month my membership sales pitch is taking a new tack: Were you once a community association member? Do you think you still are now? Maybe not!
There’s a situation that may have you not realizing your membership has expired, it’s happened to many of us! Not long ago we switched from a calendar year membership to a rolling 12-month term. Now you will receive an email before your membership expires, but in the past, you did not get any reminders.
How to tell…
• Do you remember renewing or signing up since last fall? In 2025?
• Do you get emails direct to your inbox every month or so letting you know about upcoming events?
If in doubt, email me or our coordinator Jen at [email protected] and we can verify if your membership is current.
If you find your membership has expired, please consider renewing. You can use the QR code in this newsletter to join or join through the PBPcommunity.ca website. Or join us on December 13 and do it in person.
