Hello Montgomery!
We made it! It’s December, the final month of the year. Many exciting things are happening this winter and we’re happy to give a very positive report. Our facilities are being utilized like never before.
Despite the cold weather, we’re getting a new HVAC system installed in the new year. Via grants and lots of consultation on these systems, much more efficient equipment will be installed in the new year.
Speaking of the new year, we are at a time of Christmas too. There are many fabulous services to check out in the community so remember that this is a time of giving. There are several charities we assist in the community. We hope you can too.
Great news on memberships. Many are signing up this year! Without your support, we wouldn’t shine nearly as much, so please encourage your neighbours and friends to also sign up with us.
We also have worked very hard to include the businesses of the community to offer special discounts when you’re able to visit them. Your membership includes 10% off at your favourite shops and vendors. Please utilize this and show support to our wonderful businesses in the area.
The committees at our MCA are always working hard. We have had amazing success with the recent casino (July), partnering with our preschool (September), and looking to improve our bylaws and processes, just to name a few. But I cannot exclude all the hard work on other committees like our MPR group – Membership and Public Relations. If you have messages you would like to tell the community, please reach out!
This brings me to a reminder to mark the end of February for our AGM. Most likely it will be February 27 where you can attend, help guide us with our issues and see what we’ve done with our hard-working crew.
January we will give more of an update with the MCA so – we hope to see you at the facility to say hi, bring on new members and get active with us. Thank you once again beautiful Montgomery!
