December brings a new season of snow and festive holiday cheer. Cambrian Heights continues to support two outdoor ice surfaces behind the Community Hall through the winter months. The rink coordinator Brent Else, works hard with his team to ensure the highest quality of the ice surfaces for all to enjoy. That work is made easier with a team of volunteers. If you can spare some time this winter to help out, please contact Brent at [email protected].
To celebrate the Christmas season, we are once again holding a Christmas wreath making evening on December 12 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Details for the event are in the poster in this newsletter. In January, we have circled Saturday the 31st for our annual Polar Party. Details will be found in the January newsletter and on our website (cambrianheightscommunity.com).
At the moment, we are working towards sponsoring a series of winter Farmers Markets developed after our successful summer market experience. The focus of the market will be on food items. Details are being finalized, and we will provide more information on our website as plans and organization firm up. The Community Association looks forward to planning social events during 2026 and welcomes new ideas and always encourages residents to volunteer some of their time to make these events possible. For information on volunteering please contact us at [email protected].
Our new website has been launched, and we encourage residents to review the new format and contents. We welcome comments on organization and input. Should you have any comments, please feel free to contact our Communications director Stephanie at [email protected].
On behalf of the Community Board members and our core volunteer group we wish everyone the best of the holiday season and a great 2026 year ahead.
