We know that the people who live in Legacy are amazing, but we can’t forget about our furry friends! Each month, we are showing off our Legacy pets. If you have a beloved animal whether it’s a fluffy kitty, a prickly porcupine, or a scaley lizard, we want to meet them!
Name: Kaia
Breed: Mini Labradoodle
Age: 6 years old
Kaia is our 6-year-old Mini Labradoodle who was born in Ontario. She was actually my sister’s dog and only joined my wife Anne and I in Alberta, after my sister passed away.
Kaia is very outgoing and loves kids and people. She loves attention whether it is from complete strangers or the neighbours who have become her best friends.
She loves to go on walks and especially likes to go on car rides. She also likes to go to Canadian Tire when she has on several occasions, grabbed a toy off the shelf and carried it to the check out. She then stands up at the counter and waits for the staff to give her the treat she knows they have for her.
She loves to play with her many toys. She has a small toy bin in the basement, upstairs, and in the basement den.
Needless to say, although she came to us late in our lives, she has added a whole new level of fun and joy.
