Thank you Cedarbrae! Once again, this year our Christmas market was a huge success! From an excellent line up of vendors, the bake sale, the raffle, the kids’ zone, and concession it all ran beautifully and was well attended by visitors in Cedarbrae and beyond! Events big and small at our Centre are only possible thanks to the hard work of an army of volunteers, and that army was at full readiness for the market!
A special thanks goes out to Cedarbrae’s favourite veteran Skip who manned the Veterans Food Bank table for the whole weekend, bringing in over $1,600 and hundreds of pounds of food!
The donated baked goods raised over $1,700 for our Community Centre, what an amazing group of bakers we have! The kids’ zone helped dozens of children create special homemade gifts for their parents and featured visits from Santa! The raffle featured super generous prizes, and the kitchen concession kept everyone fed and happy! Thanks to Cedarbrae Pharmacy for all the craft supplies we used to decorate. Thanks also to our Board members Joyce Wright and Cathy Roczkowsky who organise and execute it all, they’re already planning for the spring market! Hope to see you all there!
