I hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer thus far.
My name is Emery Pritchard and I am your new President for the 2018-2019 year. Today, as I write this message we seem to have had thunderstorms everyday, with watches and warnings and the threat of hail. As I look forward to the long-range forecast, I see we are in store for some very warm weather and sunshine filled days. We have a group of people on the board, some of which are new, and some have been here for a couple of years. We have many seats available at the table for those that might be interested in joining our board. I am putting the call out to those people that have been curious as to what our community association does. Who are these people? What are they doing? Perhaps you have even asked yourselves how can I get involved?
We will be meeting the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm starting with our next meeting September the 18th, 2018. The meetings are held at the Hidden Hut located beside the skating rink at 10504 Hidden Valley Drive, NW Calgary. If you have time to stop by and say hi, that would be great. We are looking for all the help we can get for those that can volunteer time to be a member of the board or perhaps be on a committee or sign up to participate on our rink rat program that provides the flooding and maintaining of the ice in our rink’s over the winter months.
Our programs and events are a success by those that can volunteer precious time and I thank everyone that has done so in the past, currently is doing so know and to those that can in the future. With that I commit to our community as the 2018-2019 board we will endeavour to keep Hidden Valley and Hanson Ranch a great place to be!
