PBPCA Annual General Meeting

Our 2020 Annual General Meeting took place on Tuesday, February 4 at your Community Center. Our activities in the past year centered around preparing for the future. We completed many maintenance projects in the Community Center. We began to proactively organize into the new district model with our peers in the surrounding communities of Braeside, Oakridge, Cedarbrae, and Woodpark. Formal Board executive elections saw Angela King confirmed as Secretary and Susan Russell join as Vice-President. Finally, we were pleased to be visited by our Ward 11 Councillor, a neighborhood resident.

Ward 11 Town Hall at PBP – February 20, 2020

Speaking of our Ward 11 Councillor, Jeromy Farkas will be bringing his town hall meeting to PBP on Thursday, February 20. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm. We were privileged to be the first community to host the Ward 11 town hall and this will be our second meeting. Please join us and come prepared with questions about the City of Calgary.

Volunteer Dinner

Each year we recognize our volunteers with an event at a local venue. In February, we will be dining at 1600 at Glenmore Landing to thank those who donate their time to events like the Casino and the Community Clean-up. I’m having steak. If you like a fine meal and the feeling of contributing, please contact our office to see how you can assist in the coming year; [email protected].

City of Calgary Engagement

Remember, the City hosts on-going engagement with citizens on projects that are planned in all area of the City. Have your say on-line through the following website: https://engage.calgary.ca/. Also, watch for in-person engagement events for projects which impact our community. These are advertised in a variety of places prior to the events taking place.
