What we’ve done
At the end of January, I put forward a motion to limit attendance and spending on external conferences. While I appreciate the work that organizations like the Federation of Canadian Municipalities do, Calgarians expect leadership from City Council, and I was glad to see the motion pass. I will continue to advocate for financial restrain and smart spending over the course of this term.
The City of Calgary mailed over half a million property and business assessments. If you have any questions or concerns about your assessment, contact Assessment at 403-268-2888.
What we’re doing
On March 12, 2018 Administration is expected to present a bylaw to Council that will address the secondary suites issue. I look forward to working with my colleagues to review this bylaw and find a solution that adequately addresses this issue.
What we’ll do
Save the date! On May 3rd, from 6:30-9PM I will be hosting our first Ward 6 Open House at the Strathcona Community Association Hall. The Ward 6 Office Staff and I will be on hand to address any questions or concerns that you may have. Other attendees include representatives from Calgary Transportation, Parks, Neighbourhoods, and the Calgary Police Service. We look forward to seeing you!
