On behalf of the BRCA Board, I want to thank all of you who turned out for our 75th Anniversary BBQ and Movie in the Park. I particularly wish to thank the many neighbourhood businesses who generously provided sponsorship for this event. We are also appreciative of the efforts of the Bridgeland Business Improvement Area that helped to make this special day a success. Lastly, but certainly not least, our thanks go out to the many volunteers who assisted in the preparation and implementation of the activities for the celebration, including our Directors and our General Manager, Pam Swan.
Our neighbourhood is truly blessed with wonderful residents and businesses that make Bridgeland-Riverside a great place to live, work, and play.
Our cover photo this month should serve as a reminder of the improvements done to First Avenue as part of the City’s Main Streets program. While the construction and resulting impacts to parking and traffic have been something we have all had to deal with over the past two years, the results will enhance our neighbourhood and hopefully promote the viability of our local businesses.
