Banff Trail’s Easter Event Recap

Thank you to everyone who came out to our second BTCA Easter Egg Hunt! We had a beautiful sunny day for our hunt, which was attended by about 170 kids. Kids got to search for eggs around the garden and the hall and exchange their finds for candy and a prize! Attendees got to enjoy the Butterfield Acres Petting Zoo, temporary tattoos, face painting by Absolutely Fabulous and Freckles Fabulous Faces, as well as delicious donuts by Calgary Mini Donuts. We had our bike tracks and outdoor games set up in the field and it was great to see them being well used!

A big thank you to all our volunteers from Youth Central and Volunteer Churchill (Sir Winston Churchill High School), as well as the numerous neighbourhood teens who stepped in throughout the event.

A special thank you to local realtor John Preston from Preston Premier Properties for his donation of water and chocolate treats! Also, a big shoutout to Noah, Christoph, Jos, Lewis, Lillian, Owen, and Jacy for being our “Easter Bunny” and hiding eggs in record time – thank you to the Whitehorn Community Association for sharing their costume with us! Thank you to Penelope for setting up our Bunny Booth!

Wishing everyone a wonderful spring and hope to see you at our next events!

We always welcome feedback – let us know how we did by sending an email to [email protected].

Many thanks to Fernando Moreno-Prado who provided these spectacular photos!
