February has arrived, and winter continues to shape life in Beddington! While the days may still be cold, this month is full of reasons to gather, celebrate, and enjoy time together as a community.
We kick off the month with Groundhog Day, a light-hearted tradition that has us all wondering whether spring is just around the corner or if winter will linger a little longer. Either way, February gives us plenty of opportunities to embrace the season and make the most of it.
We’re looking forward to our Winter Carnival on February 16, which will look a bit different this year but will still offer lots of fun for all ages. The event will feature winter activities, an indoor marketplace, face painting, community partners, and free hot dogs. We hope you’ll join us for a day of connection and winter fun!
February 16 is also Family Day, making it the perfect time to come together with loved ones and neighbours. Earlier in the month, Valentine’s Day offers a reminder to share kindness, appreciation, and care within our community, whether through small gestures or simply spending time together.
