Dear Citadel Residents,
It has been my pleasure to be a member of the Board of Directors since March 2025, and I am so pleased to hear some of the feedback we have received regarding how the Citadel Community residents have resonated with what we do. After recently taking over the Communications Director role for the Citadel Community Association, I am excited to see how our community will evolve and grow in 2026.
As we go into 2026, I am excited to see the changes that are coming to the community and the improvements that we hope to see as we progress in partnership with Ward 2 as well as the city to bring improvements to the way the Citadel Community Association communicates with its community.
Something new we will be implementing starting in January with the separation of the Citadel and Hawkwood newsletters is the ‘Community Moment’. This is to highlight community members who have helped others with anything from unpacking their groceries to shovelling their driveways, etc. to show appreciation. The separation of the community newsletter into just Citadel allows us to provide you with more information as well as emphasize any important information that needs to be shared with the community.
