Did you know that there are many benefits of connectedness?

Research shows us that loneliness is on the rise, and that a lack of human connection can be more harmful to your health than obesity, smoking, and high blood pressure.

Staying connected to others creates feelings of belonging and being loved, cared for, and valued. Social connections are important to our mental and physical health. Being connected to others helps protect against serious illness and disease.

The Citadel Community Association is here to help you feel connected. We bring you programs and events where you can socialize with others and help you feel connected to your community. We host children’s events such as our Easter, Halloween, and Christmas Kids’ carnivals. We host Senior’s events, and our biggest event of the year will be our Stampede Breakfast in July. All these events are posted on our website at https://www.citadelca.ab.ca/CCA/ so please keep an eye on this site to learn about our upcoming events.
