I want to provide a quick update regarding the much-anticipated improvements to our community tennis courts. Unfortunately, this project has been delayed due to a hold-up in our grant funding. As many of you know, the Citadel Community Association relies heavily on grants, donations, and fundraising efforts to run our programs and maintain our facilities. While we’re disappointed by the delay, we remain committed to moving this project forward and will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
In the meantime, we’re excited to share some of our upcoming holiday events with you:
• Citadel Kids’ Halloween Bash – Saturday, October 25: Bring the little ones (ages 3 to 12) for an afternoon of spooky fun, including games, crafts, and Halloween excitement!
• Citadel Christmas Market – November 14 and 15: Join us for two festive days of local shopping, food, and holiday cheer! It’s a great opportunity to support small businesses and get a headstart on your holiday gifts.
• Kids’ Christmas Party – November 29: A magical day for our youngest community members, full of games, crafts, and a visit from Santa himself!
• Seniors’ Christmas Party – December 13: We’re looking forward to a warm and joyful gathering with our senior residents, featuring great company, refreshments, and holiday entertainment.
We always welcome feedback, fresh ideas, and new faces on our board. If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved in the community or have suggestions for events or programs, we’d love to hear from you!
