Volunteer Opportunities
The HCA is still recruiting for 2026 Board positions:
• President – this position is responsible for the good governance of the Board and provides oversight on all HCA matters. Time commitment averages between two to four hours per week (which includes providing guidance to two paid part-time contractors, preparing for and chairing monthly meetings, and serving as the key contact for the association). Training and support provided by the Past-President. Chairing a community association also looks great on a resume!
• Director at Large – this position provides a great introduction to serving as a Board member, is responsible for fully participating in Board meetings and may include leading special projects or events as needed. Time commitment averages between one to two hours per week.
