Hanson Ranch May Updates

At long last, spring is here and with the change of season things will soon be happening within Hanson Ranch in Hidden Valley!

The entire community of Hanson Ranch and Hidden Valley will be participating in a community trash cleanup on Saturday, May 10. Soon our streets, parks, and green spaces will be free of garbage and the general debris that winter seems to bring to our neighbourhoods. We would love to see many of you, our neighbours, join us in this great initiative. It’s a wonderful way to connect with neighbours, make new friends and help make our community litter-free and summer-ready!

What speaks to spring and summer more than sprucing up our front entry? The front entry garden at Beddington Trail was rejuvenated last summer and we need your help to maintain all that hard work and its new look. Keep an eye on social media posts and sign up to volunteer to assist in weeding, pruning, and general maintenance of our front entry. It takes a village to keep both the garden and adjacent green space looking welcoming for visitors and potential home buyers.

Your Hanson Ranch directors continue to have ongoing conversations with the city’s Mobility department regarding traffic safety within our neighbourhoods. We are committed to providing Hanson Ranch residents with any updates with respect to traffic safety measures and/or assessments of those measures already in place, so stay tuned!

The HVCA’s Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Hidden Hut. Please plan to attend. Your input and participation are essential as we strive towards not only maintaining but growing an even more vibrant and involved community.

Anything concerning you? Any light bulb moments for Hanson Ranch that you would like to share? Everyone is welcome to attend our monthly HVCA board meetings held at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of each month at the Hidden Hut. Your schedule just isn’t conducive to attending in person? No problem – you can always reach out to either Sonia Quon ([email protected]) or Sandy Robertson-Buffett ([email protected]) and let us know what’s on your mind!
