Happy New Year Hidden Valley and Hanson Ranch residents! As we move further into the winter season, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible work our board has been doing and share some exciting updates with you all. The Hidden Valley Community Association (HVCA) continues to thrive thanks to the dedication, passion, and hard work of our board members. I am truly grateful for the efforts each person contributes as we work together to make this neighbourhood a vibrant and welcoming place for all.
In November, we bid a heartfelt farewell to our amazing Treasurer, Heather. Heather graciously stayed on with the HVCA for the last several months as we looked for a new Treasurer. We thank her for her generosity and dedication during this time. Over the years, Heather has been an invaluable member of our board, guiding us with financial insight, wisdom, and dedication. Her leadership and commitment to the association have helped shape the strong foundation we have today. While we are sad to see her go, we are also excited to welcome our new Treasurer, Robert. Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in finance, and we are confident that his expertise will help us continue to manage our resources effectively. We look forward to working with Robert as he steps into this new role, and we know he will play a crucial part in ensuring the continued success of our community.
With the cold weather settling in, we hope everyone is enjoying the winter activities that make this season so special in Hidden Valley. The Hidden Hut is up and running, offering a fantastic opportunity for residents of all ages to enjoy sledding and skating. Whether you’re gliding across the ice or racing down the hill on a sled, the Hidden Hut is the perfect spot to embrace the winter fun that makes this time of year so memorable. We encourage everyone to bundle up and take advantage of these outdoor activities—there’s no better way to make the most of the season!
Looking ahead, we are excited about our upcoming Winter Family Fun Festival. This event promises to be a highlight of the season, filled with fun activities and entertainment for the whole family. From festive games to delicious treats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Be sure to mark your calendars and don’t miss out on the opportunity to connect with neighbours, create lasting memories, and celebrate the winter season together.
As always, the success of our community events relies on the support and participation of our residents. We encourage everyone to purchase their membership and sign up to volunteer. Whether you have a few hours to spare or can commit to helping out throughout the year, your involvement makes a significant difference. The HVCA thrives because of the time, energy, and ideas that our volunteers contribute, and we would love for you to be a part of the action.
