Join us on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Hidden Hut for an unforgettable day filled with outdoor activities and festive community spirit.
This year’s Winter Festival promises something for everyone, making it the perfect family outing. The Hidden Hut is set to come alive with laughter, joy, and the vibrant energy of our community, making it an ideal spot for friends and families to gather and celebrate the season.
One of the highlights of the festival will be tobogganing down our specially designated hill. Grab your sled and experience the thrill of speeding down the snow-covered slope – the perfect adventure for children and adults alike!
For those looking to skate, our ice rinks will be open. Bring your skates and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow skaters as you take in the invigorating winter air.
Another exciting feature of the Winter Festival is the popular horse-drawn wagon rides. These charming rides will take you back in time, offering a unique way to enjoy the beauty of winter, while making memories with loved ones. Be sure to bring your camera! Snuggle up near our outdoor firepits, toast some marshmallows, and sip on a cup of hot chocolate!
Of course, no winter festival would be complete without delicious food, and this year, we’re hosting a Chili Cook-off Contest! Community members are encouraged to whip up their best chili recipes and enter the competition for a chance to win fun prizes.

When the judging is complete, taste testing will be available for all attendees, so prepare your taste buds for a delightful experience as you sample a variety of mouth-watering chilis. It’s a fantastic opportunity to share your culinary skills and enjoy the flavours of winter together.
The Winter Festival is not just an event; it’s a chance for our community to come together, celebrate the joys of winter, and foster relationships with neighbours and friends. We encourage everyone to bundle up in their favourite winter gear and bring their family, friends, and neighbours along to join in the fun.
Remember these events would not be possible without the proceeds of our memberships, please know membership purchases will be available; $30 annually. New members are always welcome and yes, we take debit or credit, join us!
