We wanted to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you over the coming months as we’re publishing some profiles of our board members.
Please meet Elizabeth W., your Programs and Events Director! She’s a systems analyst who has lived in Hidden Valley since 2012. She moved here to find a neighbourhood with good schools and a larger home for her growing family. She loves the convenient location with access to so many major roads allowing her to get around Calgary easily. When she’s not volunteering for the HVCA, you can find her painting Warhammer models, playing video games, doing fun activities with her family, and throwing great parties.
Her favourite Hidden Valley memory in her own words: “During the height of the pandemic, a large snowfall took place. We all shoveled snow into the street kind of intentionally to get people stuck, then we sat outside with our snow gear on waiting to push people out. It was a hilarious interaction with our neighbours, and we needed social interaction!”
