It is with a mixture of gratitude and sadness that I announce Karen Gallagher-Burt’s departure as Executive Director of Hillhurst-Sunnyside Community Association. Effective January 14th, 2019, Karen is moving to a new role at Canadian Mental Health Calgary pursuing her passion around mental health and wellbeing.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to Karen for the dedication, passion, enthusiasm and motivation that she has provided the organization. She will be missed by staff, the Board, volunteers and supporters alike. With Karen’s assistance, HSCA has continued to grow and evolve as a leader in community engagement, childcare and sustainability in Calgary.
