Huntington Hills’ September Message from the President

It’s time to start a new season of winter sports. From those people who work hard all day and come to play hockey at night to those lucky retirees who get to curl and have a coffee early in the morning, welcome back. Let’s not forget the school children who are going to learn how to curl, figure skate or begin to play hockey. I still remember my first time on skates. It was on Lake Superior.

For some of us it’s time to think about winterizing the trailer or just maybe squeezing in that one more outing to our favourite campground. For others it’s time to sit back and remember that great summer holiday to see friends and relatives in other parts of the country. For myself I was able to spend a week in the Nelson area with all of my immediate family. It doesn’t happen very often, so we try to get all the fun we can out of it.

I’m looking forward to seeing many of you this season.
