Hello, North Haven residents!
I’m thrilled to update you on some of the work I’ve been doing over the past few months. This summer has been incredibly busy, and it was wonderful to meet so many of you at the pancake breakfast! These past few months have also been packed with engaging conversations with constituents, meeting with stakeholders, and participating in events across Calgary-Klein. It’s been a fantastic summer and an equally exciting start to fall.
I’m also excited to share that I’ve been appointed to the Standing Committee for Families and Communities and now serve as the Shadow Minister for Immigration and Multiculturalism. These new roles are a fantastic opportunity to continue advocating for our community and focus on the issues that matter most to you.
Our fall session started in late October, and our caucus is working tirelessly on crucial topics like affordability, healthcare, and retirement security. If there’s something on your mind that you’d like discussed, please reach out to our office. I’m committed to representing your concerns in question period and debate, and it’s been rewarding to share your stories in the Legislature—I look forward to sharing even more!
As always, you can connect with us anytime at [email protected] and keep up with our activities on social media @LizetteNDP. I missed this year’s Halloween event but am looking forward to upcoming gatherings. With the holiday season just around the corner, please reach out if there are any events, you’d like help sponsoring or promoting.
Thank you, and I can’t wait to see you all soon!
MLA Calgary-Klein, Lizette Tejada
