Citizens and Students Program: Community Events
The Citizens and Students program brings local residents and students together to explore our neighbourhood through research, mapping, and lived experience. Students work directly with community input to better understand how our area functions today and how it might grow in the future. Strong community participation is essential to making this work meaningful and accurate.
We strongly encourage residents to attend one or both of these upcoming events:
Community Mapping Workshop
March 7, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association, 5600 Centre Street North.
Share your knowledge, experiences, and ideas to help students identify what matters most in our neighbourhood.
Community Open House
April 18, 9:30 am to 11:30 am, North Haven Community Association, 5003 N Haven Dr, Calgary.
Drop in to see the final results of the students’ work and learn how community input shaped their findings.
